Creedence Clearwater Revival (1968)

Creedence

Rock

Creedence Clearwater Revival opened new original sound based on the combination of traditional rock-and-roll and rhythm-and-blues. This is their debut album. It contains cover songs and original compositions. "I Put a Spell on You", "Susie Q", "Walk on the Water" are my favorite tracks. They reflect group's blues influence. This album became first gold disc of CCR.

Metropolis pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory (1999)

Dream Theater

Progressive Metal

Being my favorite Dream Theater's album, "Scenes from a Memory" is undoubtedly unsurpassed masterpiece of progressive metal. This conceptual album reveals the talents of all Dream Theater musicians in full, and I especially like how Jordan Rudess, a new keyboardist of Dream Theater, performs his prolonged solos all over the album.

The White Stripes (1999)

White Stripes, The

Alt. Rock

This is the first album released by this garage rock duo. The music by The White Stripes combines the original performance manner of Jack White with such influences as hard blues of the early 70's and punk rock. As it tends to be with first albums, "The White Stripes" sounds less professionally, but it literally explodes with young energy and sincerity.

Splinter (1999)

Sneaker Pimps

Rock

There are people who need to feel themselves desperately and doomed, and this feeling is necessary for their creative work. Splinter is pure depression, melancholy, and sorrow presented by the band called Sneaker Pimps. Feel with them.

Schrei (2005)

Tokio Hotel

Rock

Electro-punk with expressive boy as a frontman. This is a young band with a lot of energy, screaming, and emotions. A little plain, but all is made with sincere feelings and without any gloss. A kind of hysterical jolly music.

Do the Bambi (2005)

Stereo Total

Rock

Post-modern music by Stereo Total unites pop-electronica of 80's, disco, garage rock, punk, and gives a wink to funk and French chanson. It's made of primitive synthesizers, cheap guitars, jolly lyrics, and punk inflexions of vocalist Francoise Cactus. Sounds freshly, energetically, and unusually.
