Besides the album representation, which is far from displaying a real location of tracks on their physical media, Melomania provides you with another representation mode designed specially for viewing the list of you music media. Exactly this mode displays a real physical content of your music collection.

Melomania allows you to bind each medium of your collection with location it is usually stored at. It can greatly help you to find a particular disk in a large quantity of them. If you often lend you disks to your friends, then using Melomania you can keep tracking of all disks you have lent. In addition to these features, the Storage Media representation mode allows you to view and explore the structure of digital media even in their absence.

Melomania allows you to change the media representation by switching the grouping of media list to one of predefined or customized groupings. The grouping can contain the following properties:

• Format, e.g. Audio CD, CD-ROM, vinyl, tape, and so on
• Location, the property, which can be described by any suitable phrase
• Friend, a person who has borrowed your disks

These properties can also be combined in multiple groupings.
