Last week I felt myself tired of power chords and metal riffs, so I decided to listen to something light this week. After some searches for soft kind of music, I chose Electric Light Orchestra, a band I hadn't really listened to in the past. Earlier I heard of ELO as of extraordinary musicians with a great potential. They were one of the first bands who incorporated symphonic elements into their music playing such classical instruments as violins and cellos, and this fact seemed very interesting to me. "Time" is the first album by ELO I have reached and listened to, and I've been very much amazed and fascinated with their music and performance manner containing some elements of disco and Smokie-like melodies. It turned out that I listened to one the songs from this album before, but just didn't know it was by ELO. This song is "Here Is the News" and it is my favorite from this album.
