Paul McCartney is a participant of The Beatles, where he have written a lot of songs in co-authorship with John Lennon. When The Beatles were disbanded, each of musicians began his own solo carrier. Solo albums of Paul McCartney were more successfully than solo works of other ex-Beatles. "Band of the Run" is an excellent album, which became my favorite since I've heard it at first time. Distinguishing feature of McCartney's music is melodiousness. It seems that melodies fly in the air and Paul takes them and puts on his piano. When you will listen to this album you will be able to be sure that Paul McCartney is a great composer. In my opinion "Band of the Run" is a masterpiece of pop music.
