We are glad to announce the release of version 1.5 of our handy music organizer. We've made a lot of changes in IM Collector during last month, and the most important change is a new name of the program. Please note that we do not change our upgrade policy, so all registered users may upgrade their copies of the program absolutely for free.

Well, from version 1.5 our program formerly known as IM Collector Music Edition is called Melomania. To tell the truth, we haven't been satisfied with a former name of the program, but didn't change it because we wanted to rename it together with the renewal of our website, what we have done at last. The renewed website can be found where it was earlier, at www.imcollector.com. As for Melomania home page, it's available also at www.getmelomania.com. We hope you like the new name of our music organizer.

By the way, our team also has got a new name. Now we are Able Apples. Pleased to meet you ;).

What's new in Melomania 1.5?

• We keep extending the list of supported file formats, and in this version we have implemented the support of another two lossless audio formats - WavPack and Monkey's Audio.
• Statistics: this window is intended to display the aggregate information about currently selected items, such as albums, artists, or tracks. Besides the general information, such as track count and total duration, this window displays an assumed allocation of items on media of specified capacity. Therefore, you always are able to view how many CD/DVD-Rs are required to store your music collection.
• Print Wizard: track list report is added. Now you can print the list of tracks of your collection.
• Internet Finder: a possibility to search through Amazon for an album by its CD barcode is added.
• Lent media, must-have albums, and tracks in compilations/Basket are displayed with special overlays in the left-bottom corner of their icons or thumbnails. They will assist you, in particular, to know what items of your music collection are lent to somebody and what items currently are on hand.
• Navigator: when none of the items is selected, status bar displays the number of items listed in the current view.
• Options: an option for associating .imc files with Melomania is added.
• Copy Tracks Wizard: the list of most recently used paths is added to the target directory entry.
• DVD/CD-ROM Information: the Jump to Medium button is added.
• Amazon Albums: a wrong cover was downloaded from Amazon service in some rare cases. Now it is fixed.
• Ampersands were displayed as underscores in Back/Forward drop-down menus. Now it is fixed.
• Copy Tracks Wizard: the copying process always completed with notification appearance, even if the "Do not notify" option was on. We've fixed it.
• DVD/CD-ROM Information: the Apply button didn't save the changes of medium properties to music collection. Now it does.
• Several small improvements have been made and minor bugs have been fixed.
